Sheri L. Kraus is the Chief, AF Protocol, Honor Guard and
Readiness Operations, Headquarters Air Force, Washington, D.C. Captain Kraus is the primary action
officer for HAF-level Protocol and Honor Guard policy, training, award
boards and conferences and advocates for the Readiness Posture of over
8,000 postured military. She
provides operational oversight for Services wartime lodging, food
service, mortuary and fitness deployment capabilities at numerous
locations around the world. In
addition, Captain Kraus coordinates and executes National Capitol
Region and Global response exercises, serves as the 3M readiness
Functional Area Manager and is an integral part of the National Capitol
Region Crisis Action Team.
Captain Kraus is a December 2000 graduate
of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she was commissioned
through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. She has held a
