Air Force Announces 2010 Hennessy Traveler’s – Single Team

Sheri L. Kraus is the Chief, AF Protocol, Honor Guard and Readiness Operations, Headquarters Air Force, Washington, D.C.  Captain Kraus is the primary action officer for HAF-level Protocol and Honor Guard policy, training, award boards and conferences and advocates for the Readiness Posture of over 8,000 postured military.  She provides operational oversight for Services wartime lodging, food service, mortuary and fitness deployment capabilities at numerous locations around the world.  In addition, Captain Kraus coordinates and executes National Capitol Region and Global response exercises, serves as the 3M readiness Functional Area Manager and is an integral part of the National Capitol Region Crisis Action Team.

Captain Kraus is a December 2000 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she was commissioned through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. She has held a variety of positions, May 08-Sep 09, Executive Officer, Headquarters Air Force Services, Pentagon, Washington D.C.; Oct 07-May 08, Chief, Senior Rater Management, 3 AF, Ramstein AB, Germany; Mar 06-Oct 07, Section Commander, 86 MXS, Ramstein AB, Germany; Jan 05-Feb 06, Executive Officer, 435 MSG, Ramstein AB, Germany; Mar 04-Jan 05, Chief, Relocations, Employment and Readiness, 39 MSS, Incirlik AB, Turkey; Jan 03-Mar 04, Chief, Customer Support, 39 MSS, Incirlik AB, Turkey; Feb 01-Jan 03, B-2 Education and Training Officer, Whiteman AFB, Missouri.

Her decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal with 1 oak leaf cluster, the Air Force Achievement Medal, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with 2 oak leaf clusters, and the Air Force Organizational Excellence Award.
