Anquenetta Blount is the Chief, Services Strategic Plans Branch,
Headquarters Air Force Services Agency, San Antonio, Texas. She is responsible for the oversight
of Enhanced Use Leases, Program Action Directives, and Programming
Planning for future concept, strategies, development, and execution of
comprehensive and definitive plans and programs in support of Air Force
Services’ worldwide mission.
Born in
Portsmouth, Virginia, Captain Blount completed her Bachelor’s Degree in
Political Science from Grambling State University and commissioned as a
distinguished graduate through Air Force ROTC, Detachment 311 in May
2000. She has held a variety of
assignments to include Assistant Regional Director of Admissions,
better known as Goldbar Recruiter, Squadron Section Commander for the
11th Bomb Squadron, Executive Officer for the 2d Maintenance Group, and
Squadron Section Commander for the 2d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at
Barksdale AFB, Louisiana.
Captain Blount was handpicked for a special duty assignment to
Officer Training School at Maxwell AFB, Alabama and served in a variety
of positions to include Flight Commander, Instructor, Student Squadron
Director of Operations, Mission Support Flight Commander, Unit
Deployment Manager and Student Squadron Commander. She is currently assigned to the
Headquarters Air Force Services Agency and has deployed in support of
Operation JOINT FORGE in Sarajevo, Bosnia and has respectfully served
on PACAF’s Inspector General Teams.
